Before You Visit
We’ve put all the most helpful info in one place to make planning simple and visits to Southern Sprouts Playhouse a breeze!
How long can we play?
Your day pass is valid for the entire day while the facility is open, and you’re welcome to stay and play as long as you’d like during your visit. Please note that re‑entry is not permitted, so once you leave the facility, the pass can’t be used again that same day.
Can my older child come along even if they’re too old to play?
Older siblings are welcome to come along, but since our play areas are designed specifically for ages 0–9, they won’t be able to use the equipment. They’re welcome to relax in the seating areas and accompany their family, but they must follow all safety rules and avoid playing on structures meant for younger children.
Can I drop off my child and pickup later?
No. Southern Sprouts Playhouse is not a drop‑off facility. An adult is required to stay and supervise their child at all times during the visit.
Are shoes allowed inside?
Shoes are allowed on the main entrance area, seating zone, and around the pathways. All guests must remove their shoes prior to entering the playground. For safety and hygiene, all guests (children and adults) must wear socks upon entering the play area.
Do we have to wear grip socks?
For safety and hygiene, grip socks are required for all children in the playground. Adults must have socks on as well, but they can be standard, non-grip socks.
Can I bring my own socks?
Yes! Any clean pair of grip socks will work! If you don’t have a pair, we have some available for purchase at the front desk.
Do I have to pre-book my open play time?
You do not have to make a reservation. However, guests are recommended to book passes online before visiting to secure your pass for the day. Capacity limits do apply in the playground.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available for purchase at the front desk or online.
Are strollers allowed?
We allow strollers in the facility. Do note, we will ask you to put them in the designated area. Due to the soft flooring, strollers are not allowed in the playground.
Do you sell food and drinks?
Yes! We sell pre-packaged snacks and drinks, such as coffee, water, and juice.
Can I bring in my own food and drinks?
We DO allow outside food to be brought inside but it must stay inside the seating area. No food or drinks are allowed inside the matted play areas.
*Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited anywhere on SSP property or inside the facility.
Is supervision required for children?
Yes! Parents/caregivers are required to supervise their children at all times while visiting. For safety, children under 4 need one adult each. Families are exempt, and one adult may supervise up to two children over age 4.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes! We do offer a sibling discount. Any additional sibling, regardless of age, is $10. A single child under 1 year old without a sibling is also $10.
How is supervision handled for parties?
For parties, we understand that not all parents may stay. In these cases, the party host becomes responsible for supervising any child whose parent or caregiver is not present. Please ensure you have enough adults to safely supervise all attending children throughout the event.
Are any decorations NOT allowed for a party?
Glitter, confetti, piñatas, silly string, bubbles, noise-disrupting items and loose balloons are not permitted anywhere in the facility. If any of these items are brought in or used, a $50 cleaning fee will be added to the party total.
What counts as “noise-disrupting” items?
Noise‑disrupting items include whistles, air horns, nerf guns, loud noisemakers, amplified speakers, portable microphones, and any sound‑producing toys that could disturb other guests or overwhelm the play environment. We aim to maintain a fun, energetic atmosphere without overwhelming noise levels, so we appreciate your help in keeping the space comfortable for everyone.
