From One Local Mom to Every Local Family

Meet Whitney!

Whitney’s deep hometown roots, and her being a mom, made her aware of the rising need for a play space designed specifically for children ages 9 and under in Murray. She envisioned a place where little ones could explore safely, grow confidently, and simply enjoy being kids. That vision became Southern Sprouts Playhouse: a vibrant, welcoming environment created to support families and spark imagination.

The Heart Behind Our Space

Our “why” is pretty simple: families around here deserve a spot where little ones can play freely, safely, and just have fun being kids. Whitney grew up in this community and is now raising her own babies here, so she knew exactly what was missing! She wanted to build the kind of place she wished she had when she was little: warm, welcoming, and full of things to explore.

Every part of our Playhouse was created with that in mind. We wanted kids to have room to imagine and play, and parents to feel totally at ease. At the heart of SSP, we’re here for local families and to be the place where sweet memories happen every single day!

The indoor playground is a fantastic spot for families. The space is well-designed with plenty of room for kids to run, climb, and explore safely. I especially love that there are multiple play ares which kept my son entertained for hours. I felt completely comfortable letting my son play freely while I enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend it to any parent looking for a great play area!!
